  Prattville Airport has moved into the new FBO. The old FBO will be rented to Gentry Smith’s operation. Gentry will also manage the new FBO as he is currently doing. Plans also include building a new large community hangar next to the new FBO maybe in the size range between an 80 x 80 to a 100 x 100.

  The new FBO includes 4,000 sq. ft. of floor space with two large bathrooms. It also has a large parking area in the back and a large new general aviation apron for aircraft tiedowns and parking large aircraft. A card security gate with access to the apron will be installed next to the FBO.

·       Large sitting and waiting area

·       Large reception desk

·       Computer with LCD monitor

·       Internet access

Conference Rooms

·       2 rooms, one large and one small

·       2  conference tables with phone and internet access

·       HD LCD T.V. in large room

   The Prattville Airport Authority meets on the second Tuesday of each month 3:00 pm at the FBO. The Authority is responsible for the operation of the airport. The Authority is made up of seven members from the Prattville area; most are pilots with various backgrounds in aviation. Please feel free to discuss any suggestions or problems with the airport to the Authority.
